Weekly Challenge #95: Guest Post - "Mickey Challenge"

Courtney issued a guest challenge this week via the diva and so away I went to the video she suggested and this is what I came up with. I could not resist shading...I know Disney did not at the beginning but the piece needed something....so shading it was. The tugboat was the inspiration. Okay I must admit that my daughter once asked me to tangle up some Disney for a logo on a shirt she wanted to put on a shirt. I went ahead but many of my tangling friends warned me about copyright infringements. She didn't use the tangle afterall.

I love Mickey's ears and buttons and Minnie's hat and flowers! And I can see lots of Steamboat Willie inspiration in the first one. Absolutely fantastic :D

I really like the steampunk, steamboat tangle up top! Then the Minnie symbols are great, too. Really nice Mickey!

I love that you used so many of the elements from the Steamboat Willie film in your playful ZIAs. These are wonderful.

You have definitely missed your calling (unless you are currently doing art for a living). All three are amazing but I especially love the first one, so fun and funky.
