In my grandmother's garden there was always a pinwheel. Funny I had not thought of that for years. She had such a green thumb. I am happy to have this memory. Anyway I guess that is why the flowers appeared. I used the peace rose. That was my mother's favorite rose and I too am inclined to choose it above all others. In the pinwheel there are words that I think promote peace. Hopefully you will be able to read them.....just in case..... they are charity, humility, patience, temperance, and brotherly kindness. Again I echo last week's sentiment of "Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me" It is from a song my father used to sing and I learned to sing it at a very young age. Vince Gill sings it beautifully at this link Another version beautifully done with gorgeous photos of children The days seem to rush by. We are entering my favorite time of year. I am trying to slow down and enjoy it.... however, that is hard because life is a rush.
Love is an amazing word. It encompasses so many things. I have really been wondering how I could represent my concept of love and I totally failed with this first try. I am going to have to really think about what I really want. However, my first try is a beginning.
I love using the paradox for birds. The colors are too muted for me but this is my first attempt

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling has become more exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy.
