I have had family home and it has been wonderful. The first part of the week I will be at work related conferences. I will be tangling for sure....but not near a computer. I will see all your work and comment next Thurs. Have a wonderful week.
I love this new tangle pattern! I will be playing more as the hours go by. My grandson helped to color!
I think this week I am feeling bold! I have a new grandbaby...a sweet little girl who was so ready to come that she entered the world on the sidewalk just outside of the hospital. We are so excited to have her in our family. Name is still pending but she will have my name as her middle name....we are both Sept. babies and so that is perfect!
My Internet provider is struggling with connection issues and it has given me a couple of frustrating days. I needed this challenge to help me feel a bit of peace from my web woes ! It seems so hard when you want to be using the net and you can't. Challenge days are my favorite and so I was really sad when I could not post or get on. Suddenly there is a connection and so I am quickly posting before it goes away again. I echo my sentiments from last year that peace would flourish in all men's hearts and that we could all go about living with gratitude and happiness in our hearts. I hope you all have a wonderful and peaceful week!
What a week it has been. Our dsl is having really big problems, it drops about every two minutes and sometimes the drop lasts for hours. The only time I can actually have good service is in the wee hours of the morning, and so at 3:31 a.m. I sit at the computer to upload my dare for the week. I am hoping that the repair man will come today, we shall see. In the meantime I must say this template was more challenging to me than most. It is a lovely template but my mind just wasn't getting past how to make it my own, the blue pen was sort of a mistake....I left the black one back at home, I like the softness but it seems maybe a bit too soft. In the end, it was a fantastic challenge and I thank you Erin. Have a great week all of you wonderful tanglers!
Way interesting challenge for me....because as you probably know...I do not usually even begin to pretend I like a box. My strings are very seldom restricted by a box outline so....to begin with I decided to draw a box. I just didn't feel I could achieve the challenge without that box. I am not sure if this try went very well but it felt great to break the lines and go somewhere...anywhere I wanted to go. I hope you all enjoy the challenge this week. Thanks to Laura for her consistent and wonderful challenges!
What a challenge for me.....a zendala monotangled! What will I do? Well I could never get 'Nzeppel to look like I wanted it to and then I went to the county fair and found out that I had missed one important step. It has always been one of my favorite patterns to look at and now you will notice I use a lot of it in my designs. Today I dedicate my first attempt to Nzeppel!
Scanned at work...not what I usually do but I ran out of time before I had to drive the kids to school and so this is the best I could do for now. I will try again later. I love Margaret Bremner's style of tangling. She has been a major inspiration for me since the first time I found her on The Diva Challenge. She has a unique style and I love her art! I am so happy to try one of her patterns this week. This is just the beginning! We are working with her pattern _:Copada . Laura, thank you so much for introducing us to new patterns in the UMT challenges! You are wonderful! My thoughts are with you, Artoo, Chewie and Brad today. Happy tangling!

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling has become more exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy.
