So first thing this morning I came to the challenge and a challenge began. You see my challenge was that I have no Sepia pens to work with and I had to go to town (12 miles) to try and find one. Now you have to understand that finding any art supplies in my area is pretty hard. I looked and looked and was pleased to find a new craft area in our Ace Hardware store. I promptly set about zentangling and this is how it turned out. I am going to be trying this again for sure!

On this one I tried using black and sepia alternately. It is a bit different, but it was fun to do.

This morning I guess you could say I am feeling groovy! I enjoyed this challenge and will be experimenting with the pattern "groovy" more than once, so stay tuned for more. I am so grateful to Laura for the challenges. I think this is what makes this my longest hobby habit ever!  Thanks also to Eden for such a great pattern, "groovy" Have a great week!

I love color......and then I love the relief of none thinking to then go back to black and white.

Late today because of a work seminar out of town. I did the challenge while listening....again Zentangle is the saver of my attention, and wakefulness. Thank you for the challenge Laura! I love that Chewie calls it "Amanda Day", I think he must know the world on a personal basis!
Sorry folks, if you went to last week's challenge first..... a technical error on my part. I am hoping Laura can delete that link.

It felt so good to tangle again this morning! I had a very tangle free week......sort of ran out of inspiration. I am so happy that Laura and Artoo are again home and feeling better. This challenge was all about lines for me and I probably.... well definitely went overboard, but it was fun! I hope your all have fun with your aura's !

I have really fallen in love with "Huggy Bear" because it just gives me a huge scope for imagination. The first piece I started last evening trying to find a way to give the basket texture I used Huggy Bear. I finished it this morning so I am going to count it for the challenge..... the second I did this morning....using the light and dark contrast which I love so much! Thank you for your inspiration  JJ LaBarbera, and to you Laura for the challenge!

Two full days of conference.... this is the first day!

Trying some new things
