Weekly Challenge #241: Guest post "Stones and Ceremony"

10/26/2015

So this morning it was fun to play with my watercolors and with the challenge  ~Stones and Ceremony. Celebrating the beauty of this earth  in stone just seemed appropriate for this challenge. A personal ceremony of my love of life.  Thanks to our guest challenger Paula Bramante and to Laura for a fun beginning to the week.

Just read the Diva's challenge, which I will have to re-read. Saw your link, and although I usually wait until I've posted before looking at others' posts, decided to have a peak. This is really lovely!

This is so beautiful, I love it. I t reminds me of the Celtic tradition of standing stones and arches. At Tintagel, in Cornwall, where by tradition King Arthur was born, there is an arch a little like this, with the sea behind it. Glorious.

A true watercolor composition. Having no clue how to paint with watercolors nor any other painting media, I'm suitably impressed---plus it's serene and lovely.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of  art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling      has become more exciting and fun!  I hope you enjoy.
