How fun! Erin is the guest host of the challenge this week and she is raising awareness and donations for "Relay for Life". She has given us a new zendala template to work with this week and as I have found her templates to be fun and an exercise in exploration I know you will all enjoy giving this challenge a try. Thank you Erin and Laura for this challenge. Erin, we have our relay in the month of June and it is a wonderful way for all to remember those who have lost their battle with cancer and to celebrate those who have been able to beat the odds.

Very nicely done. I saw the bells immediately and of course bells make me think of Christmas. Although it is a bit early for the holidays. :)

I love the top one especially. I always enjoy your work, Lee Ann. BTW, do you layer the black behind your design on the computer and frame them up with a border, or is that "real" Thye always look so "presentable".

I love to see them framed and so I use Picasa and frame them. They have several editing tools and if they enhance the photo I will use them. The softness comes from an app called vignette. There are several options for framing. Picasa is free through google.

Oh, Lee Ann. Four more wonderful zendalas. I don't think I could pick a favorite; but I guarantee if I saw them in a line up of 50 tiles, I would know they were yours. Your talent is amazing. And thanks for the info on the beautiful editing you do in Picassa. I'm going to have to look into it; because I know that adobe photoshop will do it, but I'm too illiterate to figure it out, lol.

Wow, you made four zendala's! Now I can see your mushrooms too. When I looked a few days ago I didn't see them. They are beautiful and so colorful. Isn't it fun to see that everybody draw so different using the same tile. Thanks for the tip using Picasa to frame them.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling has become more exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy.
