As a tribute to her brother-in-law, Pietro, Rho Densmore created the pattern "Fiore di Pietro" It is a beautiful pattern that she developed after Pietro passed into the realm called death. As I read her post I realized that she believes that life continues and I too have the same belief. I have never felt sorry for those who leave....they are going forward, but to stay behind can be hard without them. The beauty of his life will be remembered over and over this week as we tangle with this pattern. Rho you are free to use my challenge piece as you wish. I am sure I will play with it more this week and whatever I find myself doing, that too is for you if you want it. Thank you Laura for the challenge.

Absolutely beautiful. The top one is my favorite. It looks like it's suspended in the water. Graceful!

Your tiles are just beautiful. I was unable to "interpret" this pattern and it is so inspirational to see what you have done with it. Beautiful!

Your imagination just boggles my mind every week your work is astounding. The first reminds me of a jesters' hat. The second sparkly jewels, the third, exotic fruit, pineapples and parrots, the fourth?? trying to hold something back with patches and safety pins! Abstract design!

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling has become more exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy.
