I love crescent moon but trying to figure out how to use it as a monotangle....quite the challenge! I have become so enthralled with the monotangle of crescent moon that I decided to use Erin's Zendala Dare #1 template and zentangle it with the Diva's Challlenge of the week , and here it is.

It turned out very well! I like the lines of dots combining the whole.

This is wonderful, adds a curving feel of Coaster combined with Crescent moon. Lively and great flow!

Both are fantastic - I do favor the second piece - I love how you used crescent moon in a very unique way!

The first one is so elegant and the second is so modern. I love them both! They really show that Crescent Moon doesn't have to be boring:)

OK, these are great. Very artful, not just practicing. Maybe I should give up before I even start, because I'll never "win" the challenge if I'm competing against these. Wonderful and beautiful!

The first one just flows and flows. the second one has an MC Escher feel to it. Two lovely translations of the challenge.

LeeAnn, your Crescent Moonlit Swan is stunning! You next one reminds me of an abstract cabbage rose. Beautiful! The third design utilizes Crescent Moon in a Sanibelle sort of way--very innovative! The straight lines/grey blocks in the background intrigue me. But most of all, I love the final design on your page--modern art with a Crescent Moon filter...very cool.

They are all lovely; the shading in the black and whites is so good. But the swan is particularly stunning; the color and the composition are awesome.

#4 is yummy, but #5 is really striking! I'm always so inspired (if not just a little bit intimidated!) to try the Challenge after I see what you've come up with.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling has become more exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy.
