Good challenge Laura, I love your beautiful zentangles using the stencils! No stencils in my house....what to do, what to do......ahh there is the grate on the bottom of a brass lamp stand my husband found years ago.....place paper under and trace lines....that will do! The design was pretty big and so I only used about a third of the grate and then I didn't want my finished work to look just like the metal so I just played with the string that I had made....sorry I forgot to take a photo of just the lines. Well this is the result......off to find another stencil. I hope you all have fun with this one. I sure did!

The end result is gorgeous! I wish I could tangle like that! The grate as a stencil is a fabulous idea. I'm also looking around the house now for more things that can serve as a stencil.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling has become more exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy.
