I spent some time this morning looking at pictures of Calgary. Now where I come from we are recognized for 2 things, Dinosaurs and Rodeo....and from what I see Calgary is also know for those two things, only they have gone about celebrating them in a bigger than life way. One year I volunteered for our rodeo and many of the cowboys would come and compete for a place in the finals and then head off to Calgary. I have visited Calgary one time, almost 35 years ago. I didn't remember it being such a beautiful city and yet I find myself longing to visit again. My heart goes out to those suffering from the flooding this year. With thoughts of Calgary I just began to tangle. When colors came they were more muted than normal, almost muddy, perhaps the flood is influencing my coloring this morning. All the best to Calgary and those who call it home!

This takes my breath away! Your color application is amazing. Did you cut it out and put it on a flower? -- it is so extremely interesting! Hooray!

Super LeeAnne, I see mayhem and great shapes in the muddy waters.

All three of your posted tiles are beautiful. The first one looks like it was drawn on top of a flower; the second, little red owls, is awesome; and the third, though more traditional, reminds me of the flood waters overtaking all of nature. Your art is always so thought provoking.

Beautiful tiles! Love the calmness, color and variety of tangles in the first; LOVE your mixed up,chaotic owls in the second; and my heart bleeds for the poor bird in the third. You've done an excellent job of covering a number of emotions in these!

Ooh, the two swans.... The first one so deeply sad, the second full of trust.... I don't know what to say to express my feelings, LeeAnn!

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling has become more exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy.
