This morning started out just like I love Monday's to start! I played with my tile until time to take the children to school and just planned to scan the tile at work. I go in early so not a problem.....well it was sort of a problem this morning. With an added 6 or so inches of snow to yesterday's 6 or so inches I wasn't worried at all about driving out of my rather long driveway. I have all wheel drive this year and though I have a 12 mile run into town I haven't had to take any snow days this year. (This snow will make the perfect snowman and boy is it slippery). It also reaches up to the bottom of the carriage of my CRV. Today I slipped right off the road into the deep side area....up to my knee. The all wheel drive wasn't enough for that. An hour later...after much shoveling and pushing my husband was finally able to drive it out to the main road. Boy am I glad for my hour of calm before the storm! Thank you Laura for the challenge! I like how you repeat the basket weave pattern in the first, plus all the do-dads round the edge. I like the second one better, because it is so floral I guess.

Your tiles are lovely, I especially like the tangles you used in the first one and the Zinger coming out.

Beautiful calm before the storm. I'm partial to the last one....I like the openess of it. Remember: even with all-wheel drive you still have to be extra careful. Glad you're okay.

Beautiful as always - 'specially love the third one with it's simplicity and the blackened corners.

I really love the first one Lee Ann. It looks sort of translucent! I like the basket-weave and all the dangles!

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling has become more exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy.
