Today I went to Staples to pick up something for my daughter. It is that time of year when they are selling things for school and so the prices are cut to really entice you to buy. I was looking for a finishing spray for my bookmarks and walked past a sketchbook which was on sell for 3 dollars off the regular price. Now paper and I have this crazy dynamic. I just can never have too much in my stash. The thing was that this paper came in a 8 1/2 x 11 size and I like to tangle small. I decided to buy the paper even if it presented the enticement to try bigger pieces of zentangle. It turns out that the paper felt liberating. It was great fun moving out and out from the center adding layer after layer. And so I present, liberation!

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling has become more exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy.
