I am Patti's sister from Nebraska. I visited your house many years ago with Patti. Your art is amazing and thank you for encouraging Patti at this difficult time. As the minister at the memorial service said, "all we can do it say how sorry we are and that we love you." Your drawing said all of that and more. Thank you.

I love your work. It's absolutley beautiful. Have you ever done this on people faces? I' new to this. I've been teaching myself because I think it will help me in my art work. I'm a threadpainter & quilter & artist. All in teaching myself. Like you I like to see other peoples' work. I want to do the tangle in people and animals and I need to see it done first.

I love the face. That's what I was talking about. That's the kind of stuff I want to do in my thread painting(embroidery). I'm from Middleport N.Y. I'm 69 yrs and I found zentangle 1 month ago. I thought it would help me in my art work and focus. It has on the focus. I don't about the art, I'm still on the zentangles.

Hi Lee Ann, I am from Alberta, Canada and just have found your website. I am impressed with your work. Just awesome .I have started a couple just yesterday. Love it. Do you use colored pencil with the pen? I have kept you in my favorites. I work with watercolors mostly florals. But zentangles you can just sit and think of all the different designs and see what you come up with.

This is a really late answer, but yes I do use color pencil in most cases. I love working with it. I love watercolor too, but I do not usually use a paper which works well with that medium so I am more prone to use the color pencil.

Just discovered your work on Pinterest. Love, love, LOVE! I love color but am so reluctant to add it to my Zentangle art. I wonder why? I always love other people's colored ZIA, but never know quite how to do it. My favorite color medium is watercolor pencils, and I've done a lot of artwork with them...just not with my Zentangles. Wow. This is more than you wanted to know, huh? Anyway!! I LOVE your work and would love to follow your blog. I don't see a follow button...?

Wow. I am in love with your artwork! I just got back to drawing after a long tough battle with cancer. I have a new found love of nature and I am making my own feeble go at bringing together nature and patterned art or tangles. I have been "tangling" since I was a teen but put it away as a childish thing. I now find nothing brings me the peace of my childish tangling :) Thank you for what I am sure will be years of inspiration!

Hi LeeAnn- Just looked at your beautiful Christmas tangles and am very impressed. I'm a retired hobby-ceramist. Due to cancer, I lost my left arm which has left me with new challenges. I started doing rubber stamping to create personal greeting cards. I then took my 30+ years of experience with a paint brush to create new cards. As a recent change of pace, I started playing with tangling. Your website is so exciting and fresh. Hope more people find you!

I read your post on FB and you invited anyone to come look at what you did with Ben's templates. Astounding work Lee Ann. I have not been brave enough to try one of his templates yet. Although, now that I think of it, I really should. The best way to thank him for all his hard work is to make art out of it! I cannot thank him enough for his generosity or you for sharing your creations. Enjoy the rest of your summer. I am from the north Oregon coast and a member of class 12.

My name is LeeAnn. I am a lover of art in all its forms. I have spent my life basking in the love of my family. My greatest accomplishment is being a wife, mother, and grandmother. My biggest dream is being able to put on paper what I see in life. That, so far, has alluded me. However, Zentangle, has given me an outlet for my creative juices. I am happy I found this wonderful way of expressing myself.
