This is a larger tangle than I've done in a long time. It is close to 8 1/2 x 11". The cover stock paper absorbs a lot of color.....but it makes for a soft look. It was not while....an ivory color. It helps the white show up in the jellyfish. I hope you like this tangle.

Love this. Did you watercolor the background first? And did you use watercolors and colored pencils as well as the pens?

Hi Wendy, the jellyfish is just color pencils....I always color after the pen work is finished, the look on the outside edge is only for framing. I used vignette in Picasa to get the soft blue. I hope that helps!

Thank you for your responses. I should be all set once the supplies get here. I have a few inked zentangles and will probably get out the colored pencils I have and get busy.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling has become more exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy.
