Ben Kwok, on facebook, has a group where he shares fabulous templates to zentangle. They are mostly in my fauna area and I just decided to share them. At first I resisted them because I felt they were created by someone else, however, they become your own as you create and your style comes through. It has been wonderfully fun! I hope you enjoy.
I decided to take the Broadbill and make a birthday card
Boy for some reason this challenge eludes me. I have been trying all day. No luck. But, a challenge is a challenge and I must try!
However it is also a fauna so I am double posting. This won't happen very often but I do like to keep them in category!
I just couldn't resist trying a bird today. it was so much fun. It takes the string out of the equation but sometimes it is hard to come of with a good string and so it was fun just to draw.
This is a larger tangle than I've done in a long time. It is close to 8 1/2 x 11". The cover stock paper absorbs a lot of color.....but it makes for a soft look. It was not while....an ivory color. It helps the white show up in the jellyfish. I hope you like this tangle.
Molossus had a challenge.....I love challenges! and so I decided to go for it. Molossus is one of my favorite of all tangle-ists and I find her work fascinating. She has, on her site, shared many tangle patterns with her followers. I decided to try and use only Molossus patterns and see what came of it. Part of the challenge is to analyze the tangle and give it a name. I am calling this one "Follow the Leader" because this little guys looks like a sea creature determined in his efforts to catch up to the pack. Another part of the challenge is to ask you t0 analyze this pattern.....so please tell me what you think!
I love to zentangle and this is my website and blog celebrating the fun that I receive from this art form!
To begin with I will add a collection of zentangles I have drawn in the past!
I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling has become more exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy.
