My zentangling is a process and I must say that is not the way it is supposed to be. They all say there are no mistakes and so this morning I wanted to confess to you all that I am not good at that. As I began the zendala I began with the one on the top right and you can tell how far I went before I gave up on that one. The top left was my second attempt....you will not be able to see where I gave up because it is tucked under the finished zendala. I just wasn't sure I liked the direction of where it was going. The third is finished and I am al---most happy with that one. So now you know my secret of half finished or just started zendalas. Do any of you have that problem?

It's lovely as a composite, actually. Yes, I too, have that problem some times, and almost threw out the one I posted because of an oops. I always admire your work.

It's beautiful and yes, I identify with you about not liking my first attempts. I usually wait and look at them the next morning and sometimes they seem to get better by sitting overnight.

Everything you showed us here is (in my opinion) beautiful. I do know the feeling, but I never give in to it, always just go on and whatever the endresult is ...... it is what it is!

I wouldn't have known that you had three dare attempts in the composite if you hadn't told us! I thought it was just an evolution of the shapes from partial to full bloom. :-) I always adore and admire your work tremendously, and it's nice to know that we can all get tangler's block from time to time. I'm right with you!

I am also not very good at the "no mistakes" view! Your finished Zendala is lovely.

Ha! I've been puttering with this template for the past couple of days, not having fun, getting frustrated... and so I just gave it up and decided to look at the other entries. And the first one is yours... at first glance I thought what a great idea - three different portions, then I read your blog. I'm glad you kept going - they are all quite neat, but I really like seeing the three of them together. Humm, maybe I should go back to mine and dig it out of the garbage and just go with it.... I love yours - the first photo with all three together.

I always enjoy seeing your art. Hard to believe you struggle because your pieces are always stunning. I find myself quickly drawing in pencil various design on a blank zendala to see if I will like it on the finished piece. Sometimes it's hard to find the exact tangle I want to use.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling has become more exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy.
