So, I must hand it to Laura that this one was a real challenge....I don't mind either of the patterns.....but how to marry them in one piece was mind boggling to me. I like to control my art and each piece was a disaster. Then I broke down and did something I rarely do, I drew a string. It was amazing how different it made me feel about the challenge. So here is my first view-able try at the Assunta/Mooka challenge

So lovely and moveable, I mean that I can see your mooka as if touched by water or air. Great piece of Art.

You too have found a way to display Assunta in a pleasing way. Adding the fill, for instance. Now it works very will with your flowing, organic mooka. I have consistently had real trouble with assunta, and it shows this week in my work....oh, well; I'm glad I did it anyway.

After reading all the commends above, I don't find anything new to say. So I'll just say that I like both tiles very much.

I agree, Laura really challenged us this week. However, as always your designs just leap off the page because of your creativity and artful applications. Beautiful!

It's always such a treat to see what you come up with each week. They're all gorgeous but the 4th is my favorite.

Your two coloured ones left me speechless - how did you do all these in ONE week? The first one is my very favourite - it's your shading & the way these two patterns mingle that's so striking.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling has become more exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy.
