Late today because of a work seminar out of town. I did the challenge while listening....again Zentangle is the saver of my attention, and wakefulness. Thank you for the challenge Laura! I love that Chewie calls it "Amanda Day", I think he must know the world on a personal basis! Sorry folks, if you went to last week's challenge first..... a technical error on my part. I am hoping Laura can delete that link.

I'm in love with all of them! Your concepts for your pieces are awesome! My only complaint is that the website doesn't let me click on them to make them bigger. I want to see them more! :)

Well amanda does not perish when you spot another state! I (joke) particularly like the 3rd very nice.

These are really wonderful. I especially like your use of color in the third one. The effect is so soft.

Your very first mandala with the 'stars and stripes' is amazing. I like the botanical feel of the second one. Your seminars feed your mind and enrich ours. Thanks!

I really love your work. The third one down with the colours is really beautiful, the subtle colour work makes it really sing.

Oh! Oh! Oh! I'm loving these! Especially the colored ones. You've shown me new levels of zentangling to aspirre to. I look forward to the time that I can do zentangles without having to look up the patterns, lol!

Alice, I thank you for your comments. On the second one I actually strung a couple of lines across the circle and began with sanebelle and the leaves. I then made a grid in the white area and filled it in. The shading is what makes the center look like it was placed first. I hope this helps.

As always I am blown away by your tangles. Each one is so beautiful. I really like the soft use of color in the bottom two.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling has become more exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy.
