I have been pretty frustrated trying to photograph this tangle. The color on the original is purple but it only shows up blue and so.....I changed the background to yellow and achieved another false coloring but at least it is purple. I will put both up so you can see what i mean. Looking for purple..... adding more to what was,

This is exquisite! I am fascinated by it. It is architectural and yet fluid. The beaded strands remind me of a chandelier...and an elegant marionette! It's overall shape calls heraldry to mind. Beautiful response to this challenge! And just so you'll know, the bottom one does appear purple on my screen, with hints of red-violet in the subtle shadows. So, did you alter the color on the bottom one, too, or was that the original you thought was blue?

What an unusual idea and drawing! It's so cool - kind of coat of arms looking or chandelier looking or just a pretty design....great entry for purple!

This is a beautiful work of art, putting the yellow background in certainly brings out the colours.

How pretty! I'm amazed at the "pop" that the yellow background gives it; though I'm partial to the elegance of the untouched one.

These are elegant. Did you use an extra fine pen? The lines are so fine and you've put so much detail into it. Wow.

Exquisite. What did you use for the soft color between the rows of beads? A purple pencil? Really, really impressive.

I agree with the words regal and elegant. Those are the words that came to mind as I view them as well. I love each variation. Simply stunning!

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling has become more exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy.
