Thank you to our guest challenger - Sue Jacobs.
Starting tomorrow our museum is having an art show for the month of July. The theme is women and their art. I am still not ready to do a large piece so I decided to create bookmarks. I have been having a lot of fun doing this. My next post will highlight some of them. Staying with the theme of bookmarks I decided to do whatever challenge Laura came up with on a bookmark. So this morning I was intrigued by the challenge. I read it at about 5:30 a.m. and was too lazy to get up from my tangling station to go and find a string and a weight. What I came up with was my camera sitting next to me. I do not have a picture of the string making process because I was using the camera as the weight and the wrist rope....you know that thing you loop around your wrist so that the camera does not fall.... and this is the tangle that developed from my efforts. Thank you to our guest challenger - Sue Jacobs. Second try.... using a key and string

Wonderful! I love your thinking. And of course your results too.

LeeAnn, your work begs to be big...... Sometimes, when the water is too cold, you have to jump right in. M

There is so much depth in your tangling, I think you are ready for the big time.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling has become more exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy.
