Scrambling for a stencil this morning I suddenly remember that my crayola airbrush had some stencils....yes they are not my choice of beautiful stencils but in a pinch why not. I brewed up some peppermint tea and could not get my spray bottle to work so I got out my watercolor brush and dipped it into the tea water. I had forgotten how many times my grandchildren and children had used the stencil and so color bled into the mix from the left over crayola marker on the card. In the end it was a fun exercise and I enjoyed the process. I think I will purchase a couple of stencils and a bottle and give it another try. Thanks to Laura for her faithful attempt to make my Mondays a good day and thanks to Charlotte Carpentier for a fun challenge! Happy Monday to you all.

I am LOVING THIS! And I love how the 'old' colors crept in and created an unplanned outcome...it just works!

So lovely and flowing. I also like the gentle bleed through of the older colors as it added another dimension to this beautiful piece.

A lovely landscape is what I see.

This is really nice. Whether or not some of the color was unintended, it works really well (ya gotta love serendipity sometimes). Do I see a fish---or a bird---or am I just hallucinating?

Unexpected, unplanned beauty by using uncleaned templates. The result is awesome, so I think I don't bother cleaning mine ever, if I can get such a nice background . ;)

Love the bold color choices and swirling creatures. It's like a very deep sea scene.

These are both so beautiful! I love the autumn leaves one best (I miss that living in Arizona), but I can tell you my daughter would be nuts about the "sea creature" one. The colors are so beautiful, and I'm not sure what was the unintended part, but I think it all looks great!

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling has become more exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy.
