I love that we are now able to revisit the blind string, it does force ones thoughts into a different direction. It was so much fun and relaxing. Thank you Laura!
So many things have been happening in my life that I apologize to those of you that I was not able to visit last week. This week will be better. I have three children who graduated from college on Friday. It was a mad rush to try and make sure each felt our love. We had to divide to attend all three graduations. They did not all attend the same college. Then on Saturday we had a wedding open house for another daughter. It was a fabulous week for family and everything went beautifully.
I love that we are now able to revisit the blind string, it does force ones thoughts into a different direction. It was so much fun and relaxing. Thank you Laura!

Love the open airy feel of this! Beautiful. I need to work on not cramming ink into every square millimeter of my work! :-)

Lovely, Leann. While not your style, you have managed to make a beautiful tile, with flowing lines.

I have 1 daughter who has a BA in art history, another that dreams of drawing graphic novels, one of the graduates has her BA in illustration, next year one of my daughters will be graduating....the one getting married, in Studio arts. My youngest daughter just received the honor of Regional Sterling Scholar in art....they are all much better than I at art. My soon to be son-in-law is setting up a family art site.....it is not ready yet....I will put a link when it is ready.

Congratulations! It is too bad we don't hear as much about our wonderful, inspirational young people as we should. Your tile is beautiful and it appears you have passed that talent along.

LeeAnn, this is wonderful. I love the open, airy feel you've achieved with all of the white space. I think it can be so tempting to keep filling and filling in areas that it can be a challenge at times to leave the beautiful white spaces. Congratulations on all of the wonderful events in your family! Wow, busy woman! :-)

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling has become more exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy.
