to embrace the snake!
There is definitely more scope for the imagination when thinking about how to accomplish this challenge. In the past people have always seen snakes in my ribbons and I wasn't sure I wanted that...this time I have permission and I find myself resisting the snake. I'll get there I promise. As for now....these are my first attempts at the challenge. Thank you Laura! Playing with editing I put the pattern into negative mode and then placed it in a frame. Seeing all the fabulous responses to the challenge......I decided
to embrace the snake!

Nice looking, your background has the traditional chinese pattern look.. This is a difficult challenge for me.

Your snakes are so exciting! The face on is truly scary(a good depiction), my favorite is the one with the bamboo and snakes. I learned to play Mahjong a few years ago and so love bamboo. I also lived in Taiwan when a teenager so love Asian cultures.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling has become more exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy.
