It is incredibly fun to tangle on scrapbooking paper. The best reason is that it is so smooth and it has wonderful accepting nature for the micron pen. I secondly love the scrapbooking paper because it often has a string built into it and it offers a brand new way of tangling. I used my micron pen, Staedtler markers, and a blending marker. It is a wonderful way to tangle.

I adore the way the 'bubbles' appear to be floating over the dark, mysterious background!

I love that you use scrapbook paper. I have a closet full of scrapbook paper and never thought to use it that way! I saw your post about tracing paper. I used to major in drafting and design and we used vellum and tracing paper for illustration. It really does have interesting properties. I haven't thought about using it for years. I will have to try it out! Try aqua painters for blending. I don't do well with blender pens, but love aqua painter. I got mine from Stampin Up, but I think you can get them at craft stores where they sell the blender pens.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling has become more exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy.
