Had a family reunion and today was the first day that I could work on the dare. I have tried several times and I finally just have decided to post. This one was a challenge.......can't wait to see what you have all done! I have been blessed not to lose any immediate family to cancer, however, I did lose a dear friend. I would like to dedicate my tiles to LeAnn and to her children who had to say good -bye to her in their tender years. How I miss her wonderful gift of love!

This is a lovely tribute to a friend. It is strong and dramatic, and beautifully shaded, yet soft and gentle at the same time.

Beautiful! I like both zendala's but if I had to chose, that would be the first one. Maybe because purple is 'my color'.

These are both just gorgeous and such a wonderful tribute to your friend. I love the second one the best- I love the delicateness of it and the airiness of your design. Beautiful work as always.

i like the somberness in the first with the pastel coloring and softness of your tangles. and i love the brightness and color and fun in the second tile - a living garden - i think a tribute to LeAnn's family who were left behind - that life goes on and we can still thrive, yet we never have to forget. we keep our loved ones alive in our heart. love your work! i'm going to go have a good cry now.

Both of your Zendalas are beautiful. The color and how you applied it is stunning, as usual!

I think I could stare forever at your work--the colors are delicious and your designs are so beautiful!! I'm a purple fanatic, so the first one is a dream, then I saw the second and wow!!! Gorgeous, both!!

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling has become more exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy.
