Weekly Challenge #183: "UMT - X-Did" by Annette Carlo
I am really intrigued with ING and i will find myself playing with it for a long time. I always enjoy the new official tangle patterns, they have a logic reasoning to them that really brings the zen. So happy Molly gave us the step outs to this one. Laura, I love your challenges and each week I am pleased to wake up on Monday morning! This is my entry for last week's challenge.....better later than never

Gorgeous contrast in both of these, and I love your take on each of them. You've really transformed them while keeping the essence of the tangle. that's tangling at it's best. thank you for this inspiration!

I have to agree with the previous comments. As usual, you've applied your own imprint on both of these. Fabulous job.

I find your style fascinating. Both of these tiles are just amazing. Wonderful Pattern selections. Your use of black and a wonderful approach to shading give you work so much life. Beautiful.

I love the dimension you achieved in the Ing tile and the second one is a very flowing use of Annette's tangle. Both are lovely.

I like the black centres of the triangles. It looks as if they are holes through to the background. Lovely tile!

Wow! These are just gorgeous!!! You're work has always got a flair about it that speaks your name! I was so looking forward to see what you'd come up with using 'X-DID'. And now I'm just in awe. It is Celtic like! I love it, and thank you for trying it out! And now your 'ING',.......the contrast you have in that tile is over the top! I don't know how you are usual the first one to post your challenge, and yet your tiles have soooooo much detail! How do you do it? (I would love to see you create one) Beautiful as always!!! :0) Share Humanity

I admire the way you let this week's tangle dominate your tile --- but still be part of an overall design. I think I had a "fail" in this regard this week.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, clerk, and appreciator of art. Sometimes I try to produce some art myself. Mainly I love the art of others. Doodling has been a big part of my life. Notes were never left unadorned. Now that I have found zentangle....doodling has become more exciting and fun! I hope you enjoy.
